Osaka Castle, Osaka, Japan

Here are some pictures of my trip to Osaka castle.

All the cherry blossoms were in bloom.

I didn't know that cherry blossoms came in different shades depending on the region.

Minoo Park, Osaka, Japan

Back in April, I flew back to Japan for 9 days.

I first flew from SFO to LAX and then from LAX to Tokyo. From Tokyo, I then rushed to a connecting flight and ended up in Osaka.

During my stay there I visited some places outside of Osaka city. One of the places I went to was Minoo Park. Although small, it's a great place to spend half the day either with friends or by yourself with a book.

Video: Beitou Thermal Valley Springs, Taipei, Taiwan

Finally got around to putting together the clips I recorded on my backpacking trip around East Asia. If you want to see more detailed explanations of my experience in each location, as well as some neat pictures, refer to the blog updates.

Notice: All videos are shot in 720p so ideally I would like you to watch them in 720p. I especially encourage this on videos that are of scenic places like the Monkey Park or Thailand's beaches.

Up in New Beitou are a lot of hot springs because of the natural thermal activity there. Here is a very short clip of one of the attractions you can visit while exploring the small town. Free to enter.

Attempted to go hiking in the mountains north of Taipei but got lost and ended up just exploring one of the parks. Although it wasn't the challenging hike that I wanted, it was still a nice trip.

Videos from my trip down south to the islands. Beautiful experience and I am glad to have captured some of it on film. The night fire shows were amazing.
