Trees of Mystery and Fern Canyon, California (Pacific Coast Highway Roadtrip)

After lunch at Lost Coast Brewery, we made a quick, quick, quick stop at Trees of Mystery.

We didn't actually go in, we simply parked outside and took pictures with the iconic Paul Bunyan and Babe.

Soon after, we made it to Fern Canyon, a destination that I wanted to visit since planning the trip.

From the parking lot, it only takes about 5-10 minutes to reach the canyon. Suffice it to say, the canyon was gorgeous. Did you know they filmed Jurassic Park 2 here?

Although there's a river running through the canyon, avoiding getting your feet wet is a cinch, and should not be a problem, unless you're clumsy. You shoes will get wet, but they shouldn't ever find themselves completely submerged.

Bring mosquito repellant!
